29th July

We went to the show at St Helen's yesterday it went ok and we met some lovely people. Nothing much to report really - still working on the shop - here's the view from our "office" at the moment.

26th July

Great news for all our customers. We've decided to launch our internet shop . This means that within a week or two, you will have access to our FULL RANGE of products, 24 hours a day, at the sort of prices that you would only expect to pay at shows. We've started already why not have a look?

20th July

Wow! Where did THAT week go??

As expected last weekend was very good. Hard work though. I think we may be getting just a little too old to do two one day shows in weekend - those crystals are realy VERY VERY heavy to lug about. Good though and it was very nice to see Lorraine & Brian.

The back to Barrow on Sunday evening to carry opn working. We did however decide to take a day off (yes I said a day OFF!) on Tuesday. We went for lunch - Derek ate a Badger Pie - at least it was called  a badger pie, in a great pub called the badger. I realy felt that the place was haunted and asked Derek to take a picture - fully expecting to get an orb in shot - this is the result. It may NOT be an orb but it's funny how it doesn't happen normaly.

Then we went on up through the Lakes to Castlerigg Stone Circle. We hadn't indended to visit it, just sorta ended up there lol - Beautiful and magical - just like me (lol vain cow):O)

Friday 13th July

13th??? LOL - Nuff said :o)

Well we've been NFA now for 6 days and I LOVE it. However it's proving a little difficult to get online but I'll update this when I can. Last Sunday was the MBS Show in Southport, what a great day - congratulations to Jan who, yet again, managed to bring people through the doors a good day was had, at least by us.

At the moment we're in Barrow in Furness at Joanne's - my good friend who is very  kindly storing stuff for us so we're up here sorting it out. Tomorrow we're at Lark Lane in Liverpool where they have a great healing day every two months. Tomorrow nght we're seeing our friends Brian and Lorraine. Then on Sunday we're at a show in Runcorn that has been organised by our good friend Paul Silverfox. So we're looking forward to a fabuous weekend.

Friday 6th July

Despite being Dereks' birthday we've been busy  (very busy) clearing the bungalow out - we have to be out tomorrow - it's 11.30 (pm). I'm currently in Barrow in Furness unloading a van and knackered!

Sunday July 1st

annelseyhallFirstly a big "hello" to Nicki - there ya go hun immortalised in my blog! lol. Nicki is an old friend who has recently got back in touch with me. Isn't it lovely when we speak to old friends and realise that we really should have stayed in touch. The last few days have (as always) been hectic with the long drive back from Devon to Nottingham to work at Annesley Hall with Richard Felix. That was great and congratulations must go to Richard and his team for a fabulous event - I'm really looking forward to the next one (at Dudley Castle I think). Then today I was at a pub in Bury which was a bit quiet.

Wednesday 27th June (more than two weeks later!)

Photos are on the phone and not downloaded yet. They will follow soon

A very busy time with the week following the last entry spent trying to clear the bungalow (STILL not finished!)

The Fairy Festival - Do you remember those hot sunny days at music festivals? Basking in the heat of the Noonday sun? Clean toilets? No? Nor me, and the Fairy Festival was no exception. It Rained. Fancy booking to go to work at a music festival on the same weekend as Glastonbury! In the end I didnt even try to wear tights or shoes other than sandals, working on the philosophy that feet are much easier to wash mud off! I must say it was "good fun" negotiating a 27ft caravan up those mud slides. On the plus side we met some great people and got to know others a bit better. "Hi" to David, Thelma, and Barbara.

Then we went to Devon. At this moment in time I am parked at Brixham Marina. Derek is trying to catch us some supper bottomsand I  am catching up on emails and stuff. I must say I DO like Devon

On Monday evening we visited a pub in Torquay called the Haywain. We had a great night so thanks to everyone there for making us so very welcome.

Tomorrow we are travelling back up to Nottingham where we are working at a Ghost hunt organised by Richard Felix of "Most Haunted" fame. Great fun!

Monday 11th June

10062007085Another week gone by . . . we're about to spend our 7th night in our new home. The last week "workshop" has been the "in" word, with two of them, Thursday and Sunday. Both of them were succesful and I have to say it was lovely to see our friends Andrea and Barry again, and look at their wonderful centre in Bury. Obviously we've been up to our eyes in it this week and haven't had any time to look for venues and dates for further workshops. We will though so keep your eyes on our diary.

Heres our new home . . .

Monday June 4thyork1a

Where DOES the time go? It really doesn't seem like a month since I was cracking the May the Forth joke! Anyway here we are, about to go gipsy :O) We pick up the caravan tomorrow. Brilliant.

I've had a couple of phone calls this week about Tarot workshops - one in Chesterfield and one in Lincoln. We will definately be arranging these but obviously need more people, the ideal number is 8 - 12 for workshops, and preferably some people who don't know each other so that everyone can have a go at reading someone who they don't know anything about. It gives me an enormous amount of pleasure when I see people who are convinced that they "can't" suddenly realising "Of course I can". We have a workshop at Port Vale FC this Thursday evening. The start time is 7.00 and it will last about three hours. If you would like to come the cost is only £30. We still have a couple of spaces available.york2a

Many of you will have heard me speak about fluidity and change. I've been looking at my diary and notice that things do seem to be changing. Less pub nights, more workshops, and at several of the shows we're doing this year (the Armitage Centre this month for example) I'm not reading, but doing Past Life Regressions for people.

There are other changes coming from us this year too. Watch out for non copyrighted new-age music cds, and meditations. Also we will be wholesaling the pendulums that we make ourselves. These really are incredibly beautiful (yes even if I do say so lol). For these we use unusual stones like phantom quartzes, vera cruz amethyst, flame aura, lepidolite and kunzite. They are incredibly popular and you cannot get them anywhere else. We will of course be improving our stock of natural crystals too - its now a three hour job setting up for shows! Even our range of tumblestones now exceeds 40 with new stones being added all the time such as dumortierite, seftonite, botswana agate, bloodstone, snowflake obsidian, mahogony obsidian, black obsidian . . . the list goes on.

Tuesday 29th May

york2I was right (ain't I always??? LOL) York was good and the people there were realy lovely. we had a great time and our hats are off to the Holistic Heaven Team for a good show.

shamenHere is a piccy of my latest aquisition a pressie from Derek. He is called Shaman and he is a one-off bear made by Julie at Harmony Crystal Bears. I love him and I've promised Julie, who made him that he will have pride of place in our new caravan. Do check out their site, the bears are absolutely beautiful.

Wednesday 23rd May

Not downloaded the photos from the weekend yet. As soon as I do I'll post some on here. We've been busy in Devon. The show was ok and Devon, of course is beautiful. We also went to Plymouth, just to have a look and that was fun too. On Friday we're off to Sutton Park in York for the Holistic Heaven show.  Of course we're looking forward to seeing Trevor and Rosemary.

conquerorWe've also put a deposit on our new caravan . . . yup we've done it and in just 12 days mobile will MEAN mobile :) How cool is that?

Wednesday May 16th

berrypomerroycastleOk :) nearly ready for Totnes the weekend - it only seems like a few days ago I was driving back UP the M5 and now . . . back down again. I must admit I'm looking forward to seeing Karen and everyone that I met at Penzance - life IS fun.  Tonight I was at a pub in Liverpool. I only did two readings but both exhausting. The first was a guy (who I'd never met and didn't know) half way through the reading I gave him his wife's name as an affirmation that the reading was genuine. His response? "Ok then what's my mums name?" lol can't win!

Tomorrow we're at the Jolly Falstaff in Padgate then down to pic up the caravan (in Crewe again). Then Friday it's down to Totnes to set the show up on Fiday night. I've never been to Totnes before and I must admit I'm looking forward to it.

Monday May 14th

Back from Stoke on Trent. Very hard to understand how two days of a show can be so different. Saturday was  really quiet, and Sunday was as busy as Saturday was quiet. Very odd. Whilst we were there we sorted out with Port Vale FC to use their conference facilities for our Tarot Seminar on June 7th.

Wednesday May 9th

It's 11pm and I'm back from the Turf & Feather (early finish). I thought I'd ramble on here for a little while. Firstly please look at our "Workshops" page. We intend to hold a lot more of these very popular events than we currently have done and also to widen the area in which we are holding them. The idea is to make them more accesible to more people. So please spread the word.

More seriously you may have noticed that I've put a pray for Maddie ribbon on the front page. Here is a chance for ALL of us, irregardless of creed to demonstrate true spirituality, showing consolidarity by joining together in our prayers and good wishes for this little girl and her family.

Tuesday May 8th

What a busy weekend again.

Saturday went great . . . really great. It was lovely to see all the gang at Lunacy's again. It's interesting when doing regressions, that very rarely do you discover that anyone you know was famous in a previous life. Rather you see that small lessons were learned and can often discover the reasons for ailments and fears in this life.  Thank you to everyone there - I believe we all had a great day.

Then on Sunday we went to a Mind Body & Soul Day at the Holiday Inn in Bolton. A good day. It was lovely to see Sian and Daniel again as well as many other old friends that we always look forward to meeting up with at shows.  We had a meal afterwards with our new friends Lorraine & Brian. Lovely people who are new to the Mind Body & Soul circuit. We wish them every success and look forward to our next meeting with them.

Friday May 4th (May the forth be with you)

Just a quick update whilst Derek is visiting his son. I've finished the ironing for the weekend and am ready for the off again. Apologies to those people who, last weekend I said I'd link to, I haven't done it yet, your addresses are still packed away in the car, I will, but it will be next week. If you want to link to this site, please let me know who you are, with details of your web address etc.

Tomorrow I'm doing past life regressions at "Lunacy at Sarahs" on Market Street Crewe. Then on Sunday we have a fair at the Holiday Inn in Bolton. Monday we're at a Charity Fun Day at the Plough Inn in Alsager - I think I'm simply going to be doing mini palm readings there. As always we love to see you so please, if you can come and don't forget to say "hi".

Thursday May 3rd (I think)

Well Corwall is beautiful but the internet connection ain't very good so this is the first chance I've had to update this. At the moment we're back in Formby (only for tonight tho') we arrived back about an hour ago and I've done the usual acrobatics with the washing machine etc.

PenzanceWe arrived in Corwall on last Wednesday at teatime and found a beautiful site overlooking penzance bay. An electric fence was all that seperated us from a field of young bullocks - desolate and beautiful. On Thursday I battled with the hills in St. Ives (must get that iron lung) and had a Pastie in Penzance. Friday evening we went to the buffet supper that the wonderful Karen Kay had organised for those involved with the show. A fabulous time, tho' I'm afraid I'm still not a converted vegie.

Saturday, Sunday & Monday was the show itself. Please forgive me if I forget to mention you - all of you there were lovely - Especialy Allie, Hayley and of course Jan :O). The show wasn't extraordinarily busy, I believe it was quiet for one of Karens affairs. We did ok tho' - the Universe, as always, supplied enough. BBC Radio Cornwall broadcasted live from there Monday morning. The live music and people were all great. We're now looking forward to the next one of Karen's (later this month!) in Totness, Devon.

Tuesday well we were going to rest (lol) but gypsy Janey was getting itchy feet so we (me) decided to drive the 80 miles-ish to the Boscastle area so we could have a full day looking around on Wednesday before setting of on the 350 miles-ish drive back home today.

We found a site just past Bude - I would have loved to stay there longer. The guy who owned it was called Paul and he was a healer so we had lovely fellowship with him and his wife (we were the only people on the site) an invite to go back any time, (even when they're "closed") and we left with the feeling that we had made another friend.

So Wednesday we stuck to our plan and went to Boscastle, Derek wanted to re-visit the crystal shop there (yes I know busman's holiday) and we both wanted to go to the Witchcraft Museum, which we did and thoroughly, thoroughly enjoyed.janeymuseumderekboscastle

Then today at 9:30 we left that beautiful site and set of again nearly running out of petrol, thanks to the wonderful satnav sending us to a garage that didn't exist. We drove back up to Crewe, before returning to the bungalow, where we left the caravan again, because we're back there tomorrow evening. Busy life ain't it?

April 24th

We got home from Crewe last night about 11.00pm threw the washing in the machine, and tonight we're off again, to Cornwall this time and I'm really looking forward to it. (Hard life isn't it?) Well done Lucy, Sarah and  Anne for a fun show, I'm sure the next one at the end of October I believe (we've already booked for it) will be even better.

On a more serious note I was reminded this weekend about the responsibility that readers have, and of the need to take that responsibility very seriously. A lady came to me for a reading, wanting to know if the IVF treatement she and her partner were having was going to work. Dowsing pendulums, cards and my gut instinct all confirmed that although it may not be successful immediately that yes she would have a baby eventually, and I told her so.

She then explained that I was not the first reader she had visited at the show, that she had had an "Angel" reading and the lady had told her she would never conceive.

I have no idea why the "Angels" would leave a young woman feeling so devestated, (unless it was the "Angel" Ratbag) or why any reader with half a brain (or a decent code of ethics) would casualy deliver such news, even if they thought it was true. Maybe this reader enjoyed the feeling of power or importance it gave her, to my mind it was a disgusting thing to do and a terrible way to behave. Fortunately  I managed, I hope to put the young woman in question's mind at rest.

Can I suggest to all show organisers in future that EVERY reader submits their code of ethics with their application form. It would be comforting to know that the readers at a show have, at least, responsibly considered what they will and will not tell a person seeking a reading.

Hmmmm . . . the fact that I've got time to update my blog whilst I'm at a show will probably tell you all you need to know about how busy it is here. Anyway I've done an interview with the local hospital radio this morning. Derek's being done at the moment. Here's the pic to prove it!

April 16th

Had a great weekend and I'm determined to do as little as possible today! The workshop on Saturday went well. Here's a picture of the gang at "Lunacy at Sarahs". From left to right - Lucy, Sarah, and Anne.

mebarraThe show yesterday at Barrow in Furness also was great - congratulations to Sheilagh and Peter from Mind Body and Spirit Events for a great show. We will be linking to their site later on today.

Afterwards we visited Joanne & Mark. Lovely to see them both and I discovered a hidden talent for cow-throwing. (pc game of course! lol).

April 13th

Looking forward to the weekend. I'm teaching a workshop at "Lunacy at Sarah's" in Crewe tomorrow and it's always lovely to see Lucy and the gang. I believe that some of the people at the workshop were attendees at a recent Tarot workshop I held there. So it's going to be nice.

Then Sunday sees us up the M6 in the other direction, then along the longest cul-de-sac in the UK to Barrow in Furness. I lived there for about a year and my best friend still does so after the show I'm visiting her. It goes without saying that I'm looking forward to that. So I'll probaby update this blog next week - so pics of the weekend to come on Monday.

April 11th

Just a reminder . . . and a thought. Blueyonder will no longer be our isp once we move so please use info@silvermooncrystals.co.uk for all e-mails from now on and delete any others you have. Ta!

April 10th

Where did that week go????

Back again, just for now, in fact I think we're here (apart from day trips to Crewe and Cumbria) for a fortnight, well maybe 8 or 9 days anyway:0). Our plans to move out and go completely mobile are coming together and hopefully will come to fruition in 4 or 5 weeks now, so we're really busy sorting out junk here as well as trying to work! However I will still keep updating this because I know for a fact that a LOT of people are now following our lives with great interest lol. I has been suggested that we may well be the very first totally mobile Crystal Suppliers and Psychic that this country (who knows, possibly the world lol) has ever seen - unless you know different?  Anyway the show at Gawsworth Hall was fantastic, we had a fabulous time and as usual met a lot of wonderful people.

Not exactly a day off, but at least a day at home so we've been sorting out stock for this coming weekend, in fact we still are (well Derek is) and as usual our lounge looks like a bombsite. A few of you have aked for a pic of Trixie (our dog) so here goes now I know a lot of people will tell you that their dog is soft but . . . . .

April 2ndcropped

We've just had lovely weekend in Leicester and Nottingham (yes again!). On Saturday we went out with our very good friends  Ian and Lizzie from Lizian in Nottingham. We had a most wonderful meal, that was only improved by the company. Thank you both for all your help and generosity we're looking forward to seeing you agin soon.

Isn't it funny how your expectations are so often wrong? We did a little show in Wigston on Sunday and it was great - really good for both of us. I sat next to Sian from Butterfly Touch (another reader) and I'm sure that if we'd been at school the teacher would have seperated us :O) Again I look forward to seeing her and Daniel soon.

March 27th

Right . . . Back home again for a day or two and time to catch up with e-mails and phone calls

crystalsleicesterSaturday and Sunday we were at the Oadby Natural Living Show in Leicester. Sadly numbers through the door were down on last year (same story everywhere) but a good time was had by all nontheless, especially after the show on Saturday night when a few of us went for a meal together - Bob, Ann and all the others there, thank you we had a good time. Also here is a good opportunity to mention Ann and Alan Cox who I feel I made friends with. They djaneyleicestero a lot of house clearance work. Lovely people.

I've also been invited to write a regular column for a monthly magazine called "Mind Body Harmony". Ooooooo deadlines lol!

March 21st

Oh my Godess!

We've been really busy since the last entry. In both Cheshire and Somerset. We eagerly set off to work in Cheshire on Wednesday when we had a flat tyre on the caravan on the A50 (no spare of course) Derek had to sort that out while I went to work. Then on Thursday morning we were at Silk FM doing that interview. I think it went well, it was great fun and nice to meet Andy and the rest of the Silk team. Many thanks to the Three Greyhounds in Allostock for the use of their camp site (car park) while we were down there.

Then on Friday it was down to Bristol. We dropped off the caravan in a beautiful spot, a farmers field about 10 miles outside of the City, which Trixie (our dog) loved then went to the Holistic Heaven event and set up the show in readiness for the reception that they held for local business people on the evening. Business was brisk on Friday and Saturday, unfoderekatbristolrtunately Sunday was very quiet but I think that was down to it being Mother's Day. I have to congratulate Rosemary, Trevor and the Team caravanfor a good event  - what nice people too. There was a Sitar player live on Sunday, he was excellent.

On Monday we had to go to visit a supplier whilst we were in the area. We also went to Glastonbury. What a wonderful place! And the shops . . . oh the shops! :O)

Then Tuesday we went to visit Avebury and Stonehenge, and had a wonderful time. It is noaveburyw Wednesday, we are back home (only until Friday Morning, when we go to Leicester). Working locally tomorrow.  The dog is crashed out on her chair, I will be joining her any minute!glastor

March 12th

Have just put a link on the website for a company called "Holistic Heaven" they are organising some great shows this year many of which (including Bristol this weekend) we will be at - do have a look and come to any shows you can.

March 11th

Today we got up at 5.45 am and travelled all the way to Lutterworth  for a Mind Body and Spirit Show - least said soonest mended. However we called in to look at a shop owned by one of the exhibitors afterwards "Natural Globe" in Lutterworth it was absolutely beautiful and very much worth a visit if you're in the area. Sue Steve and Barry will make you very welcome.

March 10th

Wow what a day!

If you ever get the chance to visit Lark Lane in Liverpool then you really must. It really is like a mini Camden - absolutely beautiful. There's an old police station that's now used as a community centre. Thats where we've been. Jackie who runs this event works so hard to prepare the therapy room where a harpist plays all day and the atmosphere there is really beautiful.blog5blogfour

We also had a phone call from Andy at Silk FM who wants to interview us on Thursday next week (oh the heady heights of fame! lol). It will  be around 11.00 am if you do want to listen.

March 7th

Back home from Bury. Me Derek and Dog all knackered. Had phone call about a possibe tarot workshop in Chorley which will be great if it happens so if your interested please let me know.

March 6th 2007

After a busy weekend of "chaos" at lifequest (Poor Andrea had to change the venue with less than 2 days before the doors opened)  it struck me that it was an awful shame that there wasn't a record of where we'd been, friends we'd made, and my personal thoughts and ramblings. So I'll dedicate this page to Sue, Dianne, Ros, Mark, Merle, Derek and all the visitors to the "naughty room" who made Lifequest such a lot of fun and my life a little bit brighter. Thank you all.
